Matthew Ells

Matthew Ells is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in athletic operations and event management. Currently serving as the Senior Assistant Director of Athletic Operations at Northeastern University since September 2014, Matthew oversees the planning and coordination of athletic events, with a focus on engaging major donors and fostering relationships with the community and media. In addition, Matthew contributes to the Boston Red Sox as a Ticket Services Representative since March 2017. Prior experience includes roles at Northeastern University as the Assistant to the Director of Facilities and Athletics Operations Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed project management and event planning. Additionally, Matthew worked at the Massachusetts Trial Court, providing customer service related to legal inquiries. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Sports Management and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University.
