Gary Slater

Gary Slater has over three decades of engineering and management experience, predominantly at RedViking Engineering since 1992, where current responsibilities include serving as a Controls Project Engineer and leading a team of eight controls engineers. Expertise encompasses electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic design, along with proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, system startup, debugging, and technical model making for trade shows. Prior roles include Lead Controls Engineer and Controls Engineer at RedViking (formerly Superior Controls), and earlier experience in sales and management at S&W Hardware, as well as work as an Auto Body Technician. Educational background includes an Associate of Science in Electronics from Schoolcraft College and studies at Oakland Community College.
