Felipe Labbé is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Global and EM Economist at Redwheel since 2020, Felipe has previously worked at Deutsche Bank as an EM Macro Economist/Strategist from 2018 to 2020, where responsibilities included analyzing emerging economies and producing macroeconomic forecasts. Felipe's earlier roles comprise Economic Advisor to the Governor at the Central Bank of Chile, and Economist positions at both the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and AFP HABITAT. Educationally, Felipe holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, along with a Master's Degree in Financial Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Business from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. A solid foundation in economics has been further strengthened by hands-on teaching and research experience at the University of Chicago.
