Michael Staab

Michael Staab is an experienced systems engineer and space mission architect at Redwire Space, specializing in robotic and human-rated spacecraft missions. Previously, Michael contributed to notable organizations such as NASA JPL, Blue Origin, and ICON, leading projects in fault management and system autonomy. With a background that includes supporting significant NASA missions like the Mars Perseverance Rover and management roles in recovery operations for the MER Opportunity Rover, Michael holds a PhD in Astronautical Engineering from USC. Additionally, they are an Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer in the Navy Reserve and an aspiring NASA astronaut.
