Peter Matthijs

Peter Matthijs has a diverse work experience in the field of software and system architecture. Peter is currently working as a System/Software Architect - Team Lead at Redwire Space since December 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at QinetiQ from 2009 to 2023, including System Architect / Software Team Leader, System Architect, and Software Architect. From 2000 to 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Verhaert Space. Peter began their career in 1988 at ARCH Microelectronics, where they served as a System Engineer / Supervisor until 2000.

Peter Matthijs earned a professional bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from HOGENT in 1985, and later obtained another professional bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 1991.
