Stephen Watras

Stephen Watras is an experienced RF Systems Integration and Test Engineer currently working at Redwire Space since September 2025. Prior to this role, Watras served as a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer at EOI Space from January 2023 to July 2025, specializing in RF communications and subsystem engineering, conducting link budget analyses, and designing RF communication systems. With a strong background at Lockheed Martin, Watras worked on the SDA Transport Layer T0 Program and contributed significantly to the ORION Test Labs and ATLO Test Systems Organization. Early career experience includes a project lead role at Mann Wireless, focusing on radio communication system integration, and internships involving power distribution systems and communication design. Watras holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University, complemented by study abroad experience in Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of South Australia.
