Camilla Engel Lemser is a Ph.D. candidate at Statens Serum Institut since July 2022 and also a PhD student at the PREDICT Center for Molecular Prediction of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, focusing on biological and molecular changes in the onset of IBD. Prior experience includes academic work at Statens Serum Institut and as a research assistant at the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark, where skills in q-PCR and literature search were applied. Camilla also contributed to research as a Master Thesis student at Rigshospitalet and engaged diverse audiences as a science presenter at Experimentarium. Education includes a Master of Science in Cell Biology & Physiology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Københavns Universitet, as well as an STX degree from Birkerød Gymnasium.
