Scott Rice

Scott Rice has been working in the software engineering field since 1999. Scott began their career at GTS Services as a Software Engineer, then moved to Marketron in 2000. In 2006, they joined Wayne Fueling Systems as a Software Engineer, where they developed services for handling mobile payment and loyalty transactions. Scott then moved to Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2015, where they developed engineering solutions and tools for a very large development team. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at RedZone. Prior to their software engineering career, Scott served as an Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1980.

Scott Rice's education history includes attending Austin Community College, Diablo Valley College, the Naval Air Technical Training Center for Avionics, and Riverside Community College. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including C++ Templates and the STL, Microservices: Asynchronous Messaging, C++: Advanced Topics, Designing RESTful APIs, Learning Cryptography and Network Security, and Parallel and Concurrent Programming with C++ Part 1.
