Hamza Awan

Hamza Awan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as Lead Driveline Engineer at REE Automotive since July 2021, Hamza Awan is responsible for vehicle EDU and gearbox integration, as well as managing multiple global suppliers. Previous roles include Lead Vehicle Integration Engineer and Validation and Verification Engineer at the same company, where responsibilities involved establishing a Test and Validation department. Hamza Awan has also held significant positions such as Director at Malik One Limited, Product Development Engineer at BAE Systems, Project Coordination Engineer at TREMEC, Test Specialist Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, FRACAS Engineer at Rolls-Royce, and Development Engineer at UTC Aerospace Systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Product Design and Development Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Aston University.
