David Spiro

David Spiro is the Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of ReelDx. David is also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University and a Board Member of ReelDx. Prior to their current positions, Dr. Spiro was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Yale University School of Medicine from July 2003 to April 2006. In March 2006, they joined OHSU as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and continued in this role until May 2017. From September 2014 to May 2017, they were a Medical Consultant for Novel Interventions in Children's Health - NICH. In May 2017, they became the Vice President, Medical Director for AllMed Healthcare Management, where they oversaw 300+ independent physicians and internal peer value stream. In February 2021, they assumed their current role as Chief Medical Officer & Co-Founder of ReelDx.

David Spiro has a MD from the University of California, San Francisco, a BA from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. David also has certification from the American Heart Association in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and from the American College of Surgeons in Advanced Trauma Life Support. David is also Pediatric Emergency Medicine Board Certified from the American Board of Pediatrics.
