Robert Paternoster

Robert Paternoster is currently the Creative Director at ReelPlay, a position they have held for the past 4 years. Prior to that, they were a Senior 3D Animator at Aristocrat for 5 years and 3 months, where they were responsible for 3D modelling, animation, and motion graphics for gambling content for land-based machines. Robert also created game features, symbols, attract screens, and artwork for games, as well as promotional material for marketing and gaming exhibitions. While at Aristocrat, Robert produced the first Virtual Reality slot machine and presented it at G2E. Some of the popular titles they worked on include Extra Bonus Wilds, Wild Leprecoins, Americoins, Fiestacoins, Good Fortune, Wild Fortune Series, Wonder 4 Tower, Buffalo Gold, Sugar Hits, Super Wheel Blast, and Gold stacks 88.

Before Aristocrat, Robert spent 6 years and 7 months at NextGen Gaming where they were Team Lead, Assistant Animation Team Lead, and 3D Artist. In this role, they led a studio of art, animation, and graphics to create complete slot games – producing popular titles such as Foxin' Wins, Merlins Millions, and Gorilla Go Wild that became top performing games for NextGen. Robert was also responsible for creating static art, belly panels, interfaces, and paytables; animating symbols, bonus features, attract screens, and intro movies; and making marketing material like flash banner ads and magazine ads for games. During their time at NextGen Gaming, Robert worked on popular game titles including Spiderman, Hulk, Superman, Batman, Streetfighter 4, Call of Duty as well as original Nextgen content.

Prior to NextGen Gaming, Robert spent 1 year and 2 months as a 3D Generalist at CB Productions.

Robert Paternoster has a title of Animation Mentor, a type of Fight or Flight, from 2014-2014. Robert also has a Computer Graphics College diploma in Computer Graphics and Animation from 2005-2006. In 2009, they completed CGWorkshops in ZBrush - Sculpting Digital Characters. Lastly, they is a V-Ray Certified Professional from 2017.
