Dobrin Dimitrov

Dobrin Dimitrov is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Decarbonization at MEDS Venture and Special Advisor for Sustainability & Maritime Industry at HiQ Global. With a robust background in mechanical engineering and a focus on energy management, Dobrin also works as a freelance consultant, providing expertise in energy efficiency and decarbonization strategies. Previous roles include APAC Regional Sales Manager at Faradai, Project Engineering Lead for the Ocean Purpose Project, and Senior Power Plant Engineer at Seaboard Power Management. In addition to co-founding VAR Energy, Dobrin has held various technical and leadership positions across several power generation projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from recognized institutions.
