Reese Hackman
Sam Snyder is a highly experienced professional in architectural engineering, currently serving as Principal at Reese Hackman since June 2004, where previous roles included Senior Engineer, Project Engineer, and Designer. Prior to that, Sam held teaching assistant positions at Penn State University from January 2003 to May 2004, covering various architectural engineering courses, and completed internships at Allied Mechanical & Electrical and SmithGroup. Earlier experience includes drafting at Penn State University’s Office of Physical Plant and maintenance roles at Croda and the City of Lock Haven. Sam earned an Integrated Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering degree from Penn State University, completing studies in 2004.

Reese Hackman
Reese Hackman is the home for innovative architectural engineering, lighting design concepts, and technology solutions. From electrical and lighting design, to HVAC, plumbing, and telecommunications systems design, our work functionally complements and aesthetically enhances architectural design. Founded in Denver, CO in 1995, Reese Engineering moved its main office to State College, PA in 2001. John Reese and Jim Hackman are both graduates of Penn State University’s Architectural Engineering program. Our current headquarter office off Science Park Road in State College, PA was constructed in 2006. Reese Hackman provides design services for a variety of clients throughout the U.S. Our portfolio includes senior living, higher education, K-12 schools, recreation, and sustainable projects. We have grown to 30 employees and are professionally licensed to provide engineering services in 25 states.
