Ivan Munić

Ivan Munić has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Ivan started their career as a Machine Learning Data Analyst at Bertrandt in 2013, where they analyzed video footage for self-driving vehicles. Ivan then worked as a Java Developer, gaining experience in various industries such as banking, finance, and telecommunications. Ivan also took on sysadmin work and helped clients improve their internal CI/CD processes.

In 2017, Ivan became a Team Lead for a remote client and led a team of students and junior developers. Ivan also joined the client's DevOps team and developed an interest in DevOps. Ivan then became the Head of R&D at Notch, overseeing the development of a platform that provides location services using Bluetooth.

In 2021, Ivan worked as a Tech Consultant at True North, providing Architecture and DevOps consulting for a large bank in Croatia. Ivan also helped define company processes, scale the team, and mentor developers. Ivan then joined The Football Company in 2022 as the Head of Engineering, where they led the development of a fantasy football game on the Flow blockchain.

Currently, Ivan is the Head of Engineering at reev, starting in 2023, where they are responsible for leading the engineering team.

Ivan Munić obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Zagreb University of Applied Sciences in the period of 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended the Mechanical Engineering School Fran Bošnjaković from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a High School degree in Computer technician for mechanical engineering. Additionally, they have an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle, obtained in 2014.
