Ara Aslanian has a long and varied work experience. In 1998, they co-founded and served as CEO of Inverselogic, Inc., a Los Angeles-based provider of corporate computing, networking, data communications, system security, and application development products and services. In 2016, they co-founded and served as CEO of reevert, a data management innovation designed to safeguard data against ransomware type attacks. Also in 2016, they began serving as Chairman of the Board for the Verdugo Workforce Development Board, which provides employment and training services to the tri-city consortium. In 2009, they became a Board Member and former Board Chair of the Community Center of La Canada Flintridge, a non-profit organization. In 2018, they joined the Advisory Board of the LA Cyber Lab, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting personal and protected information from malicious cyber threats. In 2019, they became an Angel Investor for the Angel Investor Club of Armenia (AICA). In 2012, they joined the Technology Review & Advisory Committee of La Canada Unified, a high performing K-12 public school district. Finally, in 2005, they joined the Board of Mobile BIS, Inc.
Ara Aslanian attended California State University, Northridge from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2017, they enrolled at Harvard Kennedy School to pursue a Cybersecurity Risk Management program, and in November of that same year they obtained a certification in Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age from Harvard's Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning, in association with HarvardX. Ara completed their studies at Harvard Kennedy School in 2018.
