Luke Barnett

Luke Barnett is currently a partner at Reference Point, a technology and data company. Prior to this, they worked as the head of underwriting operations for Allied World Europe. Luke has also worked as a compliance and operations consultant for Decandia Consulting Limited and as an operations and compliance director for Asta Managing Agency Ltd.

Barnett has extensive experience in driving change within companies. At Allied World, they oversaw the standardization and integration of processes in order to deliver operational efficiencies and prepare the company for a digital future. Luke also offshored underwriting back-office functions, such as data entry, XIS message management, property schedule cleansing, and premium credit control.

Barnett’s experience in both compliance and operations makes him an ideal candidate for their current role at Reference Point. Their ability to drive change within companies will be a valuable asset as Reference Point looks to improve its technology and data offerings.

Luke Barnett has a degree in Economics from the Queen Mary, University of London, and a certification from the Chartered Institute of Insurance in ACII. Luke also has experience with the LMA Leadership Programme from the University of Oxford - Said Business School.

Luke Barnett reports to Scott Goeden, Managing Partner. They work with Anne - Perry Booth - Director of Talent Acquisition & Human Resources, Glover Wilson - Director, Digital Strategy & Architecture, and Richard Toledo - Director, Risk, Compliance & PMO.
