Matthew Guthrie

Matthew Guthrie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matthew started their career in 2005 at Turner Industries as a Pipefitter and Boilermaker. In 2007, they joined Placid Refining Company as a Process Operator, where they gained expertise in refining processes and demonstrated strong skills in safety, reliability, profitability, and product quality. In 2013, they moved to BASF as an Operations Shift Supervisor, managing a team of 20+ personnel and ensuring safe operations and production optimization. Since 2016, Matthew has been working at Refined Technologies, Inc. first as an Operations Manager and then as the Director of Business Development, where they have been involved in strategic business planning and development.

Matthew Guthrie completed their high school education at East Ascension High School from 1999 to 2003. After graduating, they pursued Chemical Engineering at Louisiana State University from 2003 to 2005. During their professional career, Matthew Guthrie obtained several certifications, including Incident Command Certification and cGMP/ISO9001 production certification from BASF in October 2013. Matthew also obtained First Responder certification from the State of Louisiana in October 2010 and High Angle Rescue certification from LSU FETI in June 2007.
