Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson, CEH, ITPM, currently serves as the Director of Digital Transformation at Refined Technologies since July 2019. Prior experience includes positions as Director and Manager at KPMG, where responsibilities encompassed developing the Insider Threat/Risk program, building Security Operations Centers, and managing various aspects of cybersecurity. Michael has also worked as a Consultant at Tiger Eye Cyber, providing cybersecurity services to startups and medium-sized companies, and owned Ivory Tower Productions, a successful international music production company. Earlier in his career, Michael held various roles at Accenture, culminating as Associate Partner, where oversight of large-scale software development projects and multi-million dollar budgets were key responsibilities. Michael holds a degree in Management with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
