Misha Laskin

Misha Laskin is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of ReflectionAI, a role they began in 2024. Prior to this, Misha worked as a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind from 2022 to 2024, leading the reward model team for the Gemini RLHF project. Misha was also a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2022, focusing on deep reinforcement learning in collaboration with Pieter Abbeel. Earlier, as a Bloomenthal PhD Fellow at the University of Chicago from 2015 to 2016, Misha distinguished themselves by discovering a new universal characteristic for topological states of matter and publishing impactful research in high-profile journals.
