Dr. Gerald Mitchell

Dr. Gerald Mitchell serves as the Assistant Vice President of Student Technology Experience at Southern New Hampshire University, beginning in February 2024. As a Product Designer & Manager at Reflekt Me since 2019, Dr. Mitchell led the development and successful launch of the Reflekt Me app, achieving a 70% usage rate. Additional experience includes roles as Interim & Associate Dean of University College at Fayetteville State University, where three innovative academic services were launched, enhancing consumer engagement by 25% and improving student retention by 5%. Earlier positions involved significant contributions at Elmhurst College, Northeastern Illinois University, FM Education Solutions, and other institutions, focusing on student success and retention strategies. Dr. Mitchell holds an Ed.D. in Education Leadership from the University of Southern California and advanced degrees in Higher Education Student Affairs and Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington.
