Daniel Ahn has worked in the software engineering and data engineering fields since 2012. Daniel began their career as a Software Intern at AAI Corporation in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. From 2014-2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin. From 2016-2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Leidos where they developed a text classification system with machine learning for a client in the public sector, developed and maintained an enterprise search solution, designed and implemented Hadoop data ingestion and ETL pipelines, designed and developed web-based dashboards, and designed and developed graph search backends. In 2018, they worked as a Big Data Consultant at Optiv Inc where they designed, implemented, and operated a large-scale security data pipeline for a Fortune 10 company. Since 2020, they have been working as a Data Engineer at Reflexive Concepts.

Daniel Ahn holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained in 2018. Daniel also holds a BS in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained in 2014.
