Steven Kaye

A recognized materials scientist, engineer, and inventor with over 50 patents and inventions to his name, Steven has led engineering and science teams for many of the world’s most innovative companies including Apple and Wildcat Technologies. Prior to joining Refractal, Steven led the special projects group at Apple, where he leveraged his expertise to invent and improve numerous devices and material components. Steven also founded Mozaic Materials and was the Chief Scientific Officer at Wildcat Technologies, where he created innovative materials and inventions for Fortune 100 clients across a range of industries including energy and vaccines.

Steven has 12 published works in top chemistry journals and holds a PhD in Chemistry from Berkeley, a Bachelors of Science from MIT, and was first recipient of the Cycletron Rhoads Fellowship at Lawrence Berkeley.
