Loida Abraham

Loida Abraham is a senior insurance executive with over 30 years in the Long-Term Care Insurance industry. As a strategic leader and product innovator, she helped to build the LTC business at John Hancock to over $1.5 billion in annual premium by introducing many popular industry-first features such as Shared Care and CPI hedging, and by partnering closely with distribution. She then joined Swiss Re as a Senior Vice President of US Health, and later became the Managing Actuary of LTC at Genworth, where for seven years she was responsible for all actuarial functions from pricing to reserving.

Loida is a well-known thought leader and innovator in the insurance industry and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences for many years. She continues to be passionate about finding new solutions to the long-term care financing dilemma for the next generation.
