John Arts is an experienced professional in safety, health, and environment management with a diverse background in training and development, automotive operations, and emergency services. Currently serving as a Safety Health, Environment Advisor at Refresco since April 2025, John focuses on enhancing safety and environmental awareness while optimizing procedures to prevent incidents. Previously, John held the position of Manager Learning and Development at Acaleph Opleiding, Training en Adviezen b.v., where responsibilities included coaching, developing customized training plans, and introducing innovative teaching methodologies. John's early career included roles at Nedcar, where expertise in Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes was developed, and instructional positions in safety training.
