Tom Vermaesen

Tom Vermaesen is an accomplished procurement leader with extensive experience in the food and retail sectors. Currently serving as Head of Procurement for Juices at Refresco since July 2014, Tom is responsible for global purchasing of fruit juices and has previously held senior roles including Sr. Central Purchasing Manager and Central Purchasing Manager at the same company. Tom has effectively managed sourcing strategies and supply chains for various raw materials. Prior experience includes a tenure at Praxis DIY, where Tom excelled as Senior Product Manager for Plants and Timber, achieving significant retail successes, and as a Buyer for fruit and vegetables at Lidl Nederland, contributing to the company's recognition as a leading grocery store in the category. Tom holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Facility Management from Breda University of Applied Sciences and completed the Refresco talent program from 2017 to 2018.
