Jason Sperling

Jason Sperling is a seasoned VFX Supervisor at Refuge Visual Effects, where they lead projects across various genres and formats. With over 20 years in the visual effects industry, they have been recognized with three Primetime Emmy nominations and two Visual Effects Society nominations, notably for their work on shows like "The Walking Dead" and "The Umbrella Academy." Previously, they served as the Creative Director at Digikore VFX, overseeing North American operations, and held the position of Director of VFX for Original Series at Netflix, managing over 60 active productions. A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Visual Effects Society, Jason remains passionate about advancing visual storytelling. They earned a degree from Emerson College from 1999 to 2002.
