Jo Knowles

Jo Knowles has extensive experience in financial and corporate services, currently serving as the Interim Director of Corporate Services at Refuge since November 2023. Previous roles include Interim Finance Director at Old Vic Theatre and Royal Albert Hall, as well as Interim Director of Finance and Corporate Resources at Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Notably, Jo managed financial operations through the pandemic at Sadler's Wells. Additional experience ranges from Chief Operating Officer at Somerset House to Interim Director of Finance at Christian Aid. Jo also held a voluntary position as Treasurer at ColaLife from 2010 to 2018. Jo holds a Master’s degree in Geography from Newnham College, Cambridge, completed in 1988.
