Stichting Vluchteling
Kees Ton is an experienced humanitarian professional with a focus on West and Central Africa. Currently serving as a Humanitarian Program Officer at Stichting Vluchteling since October 2017, Kees Ton manages grants and evaluations for local and international relief agencies. Previously, Kees Ton worked for Mensen met een Missie from 1997 to October 2017, holding various roles including Programme Officer for Central Africa, where responsibilities encompassed program management, contract oversight, and fundraising efforts. Additional experience includes positions at SNV and Oxfam Novib, specializing in project coordination, rural development, and policy development. Kees Ton holds a Master of Science in Tropical Horticulture from Wageningen University & Research and has contributed significantly to humanitarian initiatives throughout a diverse career.
Stichting Vluchteling
Wereldwijd zijn ruim 120 miljoen mensen op de vlucht voor oorlog, geweld en onderdrukking. Stichting Vluchteling biedt als noodhulporganisatie wereldwijd hulp aan vluchtelingen en ontheemden. Bij acute nood zorgt Stichting Vluchteling voor directe hulp, zoals onderdak, medische zorg, hulpgoederen, voedsel, schoon drinkwater en sanitaire voorzieningen.
