Anna Nicol is currently the Associate Director for Host Country Solutions at RefugePoint, a role they have held since 2025. Previously, Anna served as the Policy Team Lead for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration at the U.S. Department of State from 2022 to 2025, and as a Budget Analyst in the same bureau in 2017. Their extensive experience also includes positions at USAID as a Climate Change Coordinator and at the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator, where Anna was the Country Lead for Kenya, Burundi, and India. They hold a Master of Public Administration and a Master of International Relations from Syracuse University and a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
