Samora Otieno

Dr. Samora Otieno is the Chief Program Officer at CorpsAfrica and a seasoned expert in international development and public health with over 15 years of experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors, primarily in East Africa. They have held significant leadership roles, including Health Team Leader and Health Adviser at the British High Commission in Nairobi, where they managed extensive health programs and engaged with numerous development partners. Samora's previous roles include Deputy Country Director at the International Rescue Committee and Humanitarian Adviser with DFID, focusing on public health, humanitarian programming, and grant management. They hold an MBA in Strategic Management from Daystar University and a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi, along with additional public health training from the American University of Beirut.
