Vineet M.

Vineet M. is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in data security and privacy. Currently serving as the Head of Information Security and Privacy (CISO & DPO) at Refyne India, Vineet collaborates with various teams to uphold compliance with RBI guidelines and Indian legislation while fostering relationships with executive leadership and stakeholders. In addition to this role, Vineet acts as a MasterMentor at Masters' Union, providing mentorship to students across various programs. Previously, as the Head of Information Security and IT at BukuWarung, responsibilities included building and managing the Information Security function and developing policies to enhance data protection across multiple countries. Earlier experiences include holding key positions at MUFG, where notable achievements included on-boarding 25 countries to a global security monitoring program and leading cross-cultural teams in security operations. Vineet holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Information Assurance from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
