Devon Warren

Devon Warren has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Computer Technician for Cermak Technologies. In 2006, they worked as a Customer Support Representative for Regent Education, where they also developed websites using PHP and MySQL, as well as reports with Crystal Reports and e-forms with Formatta. In 2010, they worked as an Internet Developer for Orases Consulting Corporation. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Web Developer for Energy Enterprise Solutions, LLC, where they were key in planning and implementing Windows to Linux migration using cloud providers, and led Drupal 7 development. From 2014 to 2021, they worked as a Sr DevOps Engineer for 1 Source, Inc., where they automated configuration management using Puppet and SaltStack, and implemented Jenkins for CI/CD. Since 2021, they have been a Sr DevOps Engineer for Optum, where they are automating functions and providing support for a large healthcare related Kubernetes PaaS, and assisting in the migration to a hybrid on-prem/GCP environment.

Devon Warren attended Frederick Community College from 2007 to 2008, where they studied Computer Science. Devon also obtained a certification from Code School called "Shaping up with Angular.js".
