Stephen Okano

Stephen Okano is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Regard since May 2024, Stephen previously held several key roles at Mark43, including Chief Architect and CTO, where technical leadership was provided across product and professional services engineering. Earlier roles include Technical Lead at ZocDoc, where leadership was demonstrated in enhancing healthcare efficiency, and Software Engineer at Capital IQ, contributing to the development of the iPad application. Stephen's career also features significant contributions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, the United States Air Force, and MIT Media Laboratory. Stephen holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
