Roy Michael

Roy Michael has a strong background in software engineering and development. Roy has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Software and Web Developer at Snunit from 2000 to 2001. Roy then worked as a Web Application Developer at Gemewizard Ltd. from 2002 to 2003.

In 2003, Roy joined Sungard STeP as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on software solutions for the financial industry. Roy stayed in this role until 2006 and was responsible for leading projects and implementing work methodologies.

From 2006 to 2009, Roy worked at Impactia Advanced Email Systems as a Team Leader and System Architect. Roy managed a team of developers and led the development of a robust distributed system.

In 2009, Roy joined Dell EMC as a Senior Software Engineer and worked specifically on the EMC Data Protection Advisor. Roy played a key role in designing and developing cross-region projects and integrating with storage systems and virtualization solutions.

From 2011 to 2017, Roy worked at Dell EMC ScaleIO as a Software Development Manager. Roy led multiple projects and managed a team of engineers to support the XtremCache and ScaleIO DAS storage solutions.

Most recently, Roy worked at neosec.com as a Data Engineering Team Lead from 2021 to 2022, and is currently working at Regatta as a Software Engineer starting in December 2022.

Throughout their career, Roy has gained experience with various programming languages and technologies, including Go, Python, AWS, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Java, JEE, EJBs, Hibernate, Spring, and SQL.

Roy Michael attended Hadassah Academic College from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
