Abigail Smith

Abigail Smith is an accomplished legal professional specializing in life sciences. They are currently the Country Legal Director for Canada at Regeneron since 2025. Abigail has served in various legal capacities, including Acting General Counsel at EMD Serono, Inc. and Legal Counsel at Roche Canada. Their earlier experience includes roles such as Judicial Clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal and Senior Associate at Smart & Biggar/Fetherstonhaugh. Abigail is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree with an option in Technology Law at the University of Ottawa and holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Dalhousie University.
