Alina Baum is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Genetics at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities while having obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Alina has held multiple positions at Regeneron, serving as the Sr Director and Head of Infectious Diseases in 2022, and previously as a Scientist and Senior Staff Scientist from 2015 to 2018. Alina also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in innate immunity to RNA viruses at Rockefeller University and conducted research in virology and virus-host interactions during their PhD studies at Mt Sinai School of Medicine.
