Leander Petersen

Leander Petersen, PhD, is a Principal Process Characterization & Technology Engineer at Regeneron. They previously held a position as a Senior Process Scientist and have extensive experience in biotechnology and chemical engineering, including roles as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark. Leander earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from DTU, where they focused on single-cell protein production in U-loop bioreactors during their industrial PhD program. Their strong academic background is complemented by hands-on experience in upstream processing and pilot scale optimization at UniBio A/S, where they also worked on fermentation engineering and research projects.
