Michael Zhang, MD, PhD, is currently an Associate Medical Director at Regeneron, focusing on clinical development. With a strong background in human immunology and inflammatory diseases, they completed their MD/PhD at the University of Iowa, where they investigated the effects of glycerol monolaurate on T cell biology. Previously, Michael served as a collaborator with the National Institutes of Health for a severe asthma clinical trial, and gained valuable experience at UPMC as both an Allergy/Immunology Fellow and a Pediatrics Resident. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, graduating with highest distinction.
