Quan Yang

Quan Yang has extensive experience in the fields of bioinformatics and research informatics, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Research & Preclinical Development IT at Regeneron since June 2019. Prior to this role, Quan held various leadership positions at Novartis from February 2004 to June 2019, including Global Head & Director for Biology Information Systems and System Architect. Early career experiences include bioinformatics roles at Genome Therapeutics Inc., Nokia, GTE/Verizon, and Cereon Genomics. Quan holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from UT Southwestern Medical Center, an M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, and multiple degrees in molecular biology and biochemistry from Peking Union Medical College and Nanjing University.
