Sema Kurtulus

Sema Kurtulus is an experienced T cell immunologist currently serving as Associate Director of Exploratory Cell Therapy Research at Regeneron Cell Medicines. They previously held positions as Principal Scientist at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and Senior Scientist in Gene Editing Oncology at 2seventy bio and bluebird bio. Sema earned a Bachelor’s degree from Middle East Technical University, a Master’s degree from Sabanci University, and a PhD from the University of Cincinnati. Their extensive research background includes roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School - Brigham and Women's Hospital and as a Graduate Student in Immunobiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
