Sheldon McKay

Sheldon McKay, PhD, is currently the Associate Director of Bioinformatics at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where they lead a team of data scientists and manage a bioinformatics training program. With 25 years of experience in 'omics, bioinformatics, data science, and computational biology, they have previously held positions at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, United Therapeutics Corporation, and the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. They also served as the Scientific Lead and Education, Outreach and Training Manager at iPlant Collaborative (CyVerse). Sheldon is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Evolutionary Genetics at Simon Fraser University and a Master's degree in Genetics at The University of British Columbia.
