Yan Wang

Yan Wang is an accomplished professional in the field of cellular process development and biopharmaceutical sciences, currently serving as the Director and Head of Cellular Process Development at 2seventy bio since March 2022, focusing on autologous T cell therapy. Prior experience includes the role of Associate Director at AlloVir, where Yan Wang was instrumental in late-stage allogeneic cell therapy product development, process characterization, and leading successful regulatory submissions. Previously at Amgen, Yan Wang held positions ranging from Senior Scientist to Group Lead, overseeing drug substance process development, tech transfer, and regulatory filings, while also leading teams in various areas of biotechnology. Yan Wang holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Peking University.
