Ying Hu

Ying Hu is currently the Associate Director at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., bringing over 20 years of experience in ophthalmology, cell, and molecular biology. Ying previously served as a Senior Staff Scientist at Regeneron from 2010 to 2021, focusing on ophthalmology R&D, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine from 2007 to 2010, specializing in neuroprotection and regeneration in animal models. Ying began their research career as a Research Associate at the European Neuroscience Institute from 2002 to 2003 and at the State Key Laboratory for Experimental Hematology, Institute of Hematology from 2000 to 2002. Ying holds a Master's degree in Clinical Medicine from Nankai University and a PhD in Neuroscience with Distinction from The University of Western Australia.
