Yusuf Sutton

Yusuf Sutton is currently the Senior Director at Regeneron, where leadership of analytical development teams focuses on supporting protein-based biologics throughout clinical pipelines, including the development of phase-appropriate methods for identity, purity, potency, and stability since February 2018. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Scientist and Group Lead at Amgen, where analytical strategy for multiple monoclonal antibody programs was led from May 2006 to October 2013. Additionally, Yusuf held the position of Director, Biologics Analytical Development at Bristol Myers Squibb from December 2013 to January 2018, directing multidisciplinary teams in method development, validation, and GMP testing, and playing a vital role in regulatory filings and cross-site tech transfers. Earlier, Yusuf contributed as Chief Scientist at Genentech from October 2002 to April 2006, focusing on mass spectrometry-based protein characterization and proteomics research, and advancing de novo sequencing techniques. Educational background includes studies at the University of California, San Francisco.
