Alan Cole

Alan Cole is an experienced architect, polyglot engineer, and engineering leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Regeno, where they focus on connecting retail capital to soil health. Previously, Alan held various roles, including Senior PHP Developer at Discovery Inc and VP of Engineering at Chip, where they transformed the engineering team and implemented a microservices infrastructure. As a founder and CTO for multiple startups, including Papertrail and Hired Help, Alan has been at the forefront of innovative messaging applications. Their early career involved contracting for notable clients such as the UK Department of Energy and Mazda, where Alan led projects aimed at climate change visualization and customer finance systems. Alan is also pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at The Open University.
