Re/Gent is a supplier of test rigs and climate rooms as well as a test and R&D centre specialized in refrigeration, heat pumps, and natural refrigerants. Our in-house laboratory enables practical investigations on domestic and commercial appliances as well as components. A key part of Re/Gent’s activities involves testing and verifying various requirements of domestic and commercial refrigeration equipment. Re/Gent is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited for testing the energy consumption and performance of household refrigerators, commercial plug-in coolers and freezers, and other refrigeration systems.

In addition, Re/Gent is a World Health Organization (WHO) approved laboratory, actively involved in testing and qualifying medical refrigerators and freezers according to WHO Performance, Quality, and Safety (PQS) requirements.

All test rigs and and climate rooms are designed and built in-house, and can also be supplied to customers upon request. Re/Gent has developed proprietary software tools to support the design and development of innovative refrigeration systems. While Rankine and Peltier-based systems are regularly used, our expertise also extends to “not-in-kind” technologies such as the Stirling cycle, evaporative cooling, air cycle, and magnetic cooling.

Re/Gent also provides consultancy services, including theoretical studies and literature reviews when required. The design and development of simulation software further complements our range of R&D and testing activities.
