Ian Colbert

Ian Colbert is a propulsion engineer at REGENT since July 2024, with a solid background in electrical engineering. Previously, Ian held the position of Electrical Engineer III and later Electrical Engineer at Electric Power Systems, Inc. from November 2018 to July 2024, contributing to various engineering projects. Earlier experience includes an Electrical Engineer Intern role at Utah State University from March 2018 to November 2018, and a Heavy Machinery Operator at Tom Stuart Construction Co from May 2016 to March 2018, where Ian specialized in operating a telehandler and tower crane. Additionally, Ian served as an Apprentice to an Electrician at JP Electric from July 2016 to January 2017, focusing on residential electrical work and 3-phase wiring. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Utah State University, earned between 2015 and 2019.
