Len I. is a highly experienced professional in the fields of aero/hydrodynamics and computational fluid dynamics, currently serving as Principal Performance Engineer at REGENT since June 2024. Prior roles include Principal Engineer and program manager at Maritime Applied Physics Corporation, where Len managed the aero/hydro group and contributed to air and marine vehicle design and performance analysis. Len has also worked as a consultant for the Australian Institute of Sport and led CFD and hydrodynamic design at American Magic for the AC 37 campaign. With a strong academic background, Len held the position of Associate Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2017, where Len co-directed the Naval Engineering undergraduate program and supervised numerous graduate students. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and multiple degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
