Neil Ormerod

Neil Ormerod is a politician for Vänsterpartiet, currently serving as the Chair of the Hospital Board and a Regional Councilor in Region Uppsala. They held the position of Second Vice Chair in the Care Board from 2022 to 2024. Educated at the University of York, Neil earned a BA in History/Politics, an MA in Political Philosophy, and a PhD in Political Philosophy from the University of Reading. Prior to their political career, Neil worked as a Course Administrator and Doctoral Student Coordinator at Uppsala University and as a Project Administrator at CBG. They also served as Deputy Chair of the Civil Service Union at Uppsala University from 2017 to 2018.
