John Cole

John Cole is currently the Assistant General Counsel at Regions Bank and has a robust background in mortgage banking law and consumer credit regulation. Previously, they served as Senior Counsel at PNC and held the position of Mortgage Compliance Group Manager at BBVA in the USA, where they developed compliance policies for mortgage lending. John began their legal career as an Attorney at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, focusing on consumer financial services law and regulation compliance. They also worked as Counsel for the Financial Services Committee at the U.S. House of Representatives, advising on significant financial legislation and overseeing critical hearings related to the Dodd-Frank Act. John holds a JD from Samford University and an LL.M. from Boston University.
